Greek Writer

In this topic i learned many exotic things hahahahah in words in the type of writing and etc. One of the most interesting part here is in the Background of Sappho - who used to write a poem for girls. Sappho Lived in Lesbos wherein they said that the word Lesbian came from there because according to the history, Sappho is writing for the girls because she is Lesbian which means he love girls not boys, so then Lesbian came from Lesbos which is kinda similar. So i knew where the word Lesbian Originated and there are many other things like the master of Greek comedy Aristophanes and many. I enjoyed listening at this lesson even though there are some words i really dont understand that even i looked it up at the dictionary its still too deep for me to understand and i know only one of my classmates can answer it and she is Angela who i am calling my idol.

This is my last Blog Miss thank for everything im going to miss you :D I hope someday im going to be a great teacher like you thats all miss Thank you sa lahat :D

Story Of Griselda

This story was written by Giovanni Boccaccio.
This story is all about a guy named Gualtieri who in looking for his right wife he test the patience of a girl named Griselda who he thought will be the right woman for him.
There are several tests that Gualtieri did one of this test is he said to Griselda that their children is already dead and that Gualtieri will give her back to her father. That rudeness was only to test the patience of Griselda. So in the end Griselda knew that her children is alive and that Gualtieri is only testing him.
The moral of the story is Patience is a virtue but dont take advantage of that patience even if that person do has a long patience.

La Cordera

La Cordera is a story written by Leopoldo Alas - he was born in Zamora, spain. Where he worked as a journalist and literary critic.

La Cordera is a cow taken care by Rosa and Pinin, La Cordera means a lot to the bothe of them as if La Cordera was their Mother. The sad thing about this story is because of they dont have anything to eat they needed to sell their beloved cow that means a lot to them and the 2 kids was tricked because they thought La Cordera will be sold to a good man but they were wrong because at last they saw the butcher that picked up La Cordera and by that time tears fell by both of them.

The moral lesson of the story is Leave the must cause everything must go on.

Poem Reading

That day was one of the most memorable day of my entire 4th year life, we shared some happy poems that we can relate to and shared some kinda romantic poems that i guess most of us can relate to.

If I could have just one wish,
I would wish to wake up everyday
to the sound of your breath on my neck,
the warmth of your lips on my cheek,
the touch of your fingers on my skin,
and the feel of your heart beating with mine...
Knowing that I could never find that feeling
with anyone other than you.

- Courtney Kuchta -

I think this is the poem i recited that day it was kinda good hahahah had fun at that time :D.

Lottery Ticket

Was written by Anton Chekov. He was educated as a doctor of medicine but he preferred writing instead doctoring. In this story i learned that money can really make the world go round and at the same time it can change the attitude of the people. Why? In this story Ivan a middleman class who is living with his wife thought of they won the lottery, but they dont know the true winning number yet so what they did they just assume and think that they won, but they are wrong at first both of them is thinking on are they going to do with the money alone and they are saying something bad about both of them in their minds what they dont know is both of them knew what they are thinking. So in the end they checked the correct number if they are right but unfortunately they didnt win at all so the moral lesson of the story is dont let greed overcome you or a person.

English Week

English Week was so fun that for me i dont want that to end but as what others said leave the past and face the present. That event was so important to me cause by that i saw our cooperation with each other like a Domino if one fell down the others will fell down too. Thats what my insight in the English Week wherein there are some things tested that we have to argue to make it correct and the very important thing that im proud to say we have is what we called Teamwork and Determination. Each and everyone of us contributed something but the most important thing we contribute is the teamwork that if we dont have one we cannot do a thing with our friends. Determination to proove that Faraday has something others dont have and thats our will to win. Like Luigi said the "will to win is important, but the will to prepare is vital" the end. :D 1 month left bye bye ill miss you miss ly :D

Nibelungenlied

This story was also a bit similar to Achilles', only because when Siegfried killed the dragon and bathe the blood of it a leaf fell down at his back wherein like Achilles can be located his weak point. Nibelungenlied is Germany's  greatest epic just like to Italy it was the Divine Comedy.

The hero of Nibelungenlied is Siegfried while its heroine is Kriemhild and the wife of Siegfried. Here i learned that revenge will cause you nothing instead just love your own kind. Like what Gunther did to Siegfried that he even hired someone to kill Siegfried although he knew that Siegfried is Kriemhilds husband wherein Kriemhild is Gunthers sister.

In the end they killed Siegfried and didnt get anything they just made Kriemhild angry at them that it made Kriemhild take a revenge on what they did to her huband

The Smith who could not go to hell

This is one of the most Hilarious story ive ever read wherein i cant stop laughing because by just reading the title you'll get the main idea of the story.

It started because there was a smith who want to be more powerful than God but he failed. So then the devil came and ask him for any wish that if after the 3 wishes is done the smith will go with the devil in the hell. Also God gave him 3 wishes too and the 3 wishes he ask is all for the devil.

The devil gave up because the things that the smith is asking is way to harsh for him so then the judgement day came and the smith will choose whether he will go to the hell or to heaven and then the ending was an open ending. But i had a great time with it.

Troy

The most awesome story ive ever read and watched. For me I can watch this as many times as I want because knowing that this story is based on true to life written by Homer and the watcher or the reader can learn something from it.

But basically i learned that love can give peace in a lifetime of war as what Achilles said to Briseis. It doesn't need any blood to be spilled the only thing needed is love for ones country and love from others. The fight between Achilles and Hector was for me the climax of the story, because of Achilles' cousin mistaken for him then hector killed him because he thought that he was Achilles he was fighting, but he was wrong so by that Achilles was provoked and he went alone to the Troy to fight Hector.

But in the end it was kinda sad because Achilles died after being hit at the heel where they said the spot where Achilles is vulnerable. The other Trojans fled away to the mountains to rebuild their Empire and after that the Troy was fully destroyed and there marked the end of the long war.

Don Quixote

This is one the stories that i will never forget in my 4th year life. Why? Its only because of Don Quixote's hilarious acts that gave me a reason to not forget him.Theres one more reason why i cant forget this story, I have a classmate named Angela or Anca that like Don Quixote she is also crazy in a way like Don Quixote.

For me I think i didn't learn something from Don Quixote but it did leave a mark in my mind that never stop believing even though if its fantasy or reality. But all in all I conclude that i had fun reading this story with my classmates. I shared laughter with my classmates reading this story thats why this is one the many stories i will never forget in my life, I wish we can read it once more before we graduate. Thats all thank you :D
